I usually writte lyrics to musics but when i'm feeling down or I have an "inspiration" I writte poems just like you. I think that writte poems is the best way to show our feelings and put things outside, so for me my poems are like a part of me...

I wish I could write lyrics but I have enough trouble keeping a rhythm without that as an extra complication.
And poems are definitely one of the best ways to express how your feeling.
