I had a tripod... at one point, but I can't find it anywhere... I have a great camera actually but I never use it, there are to many gadgets and I am easily amused, so I fiddle with it for hours and never actually get around to taking the pictures.
I do however do self portraits in boredom but with my icky cheep digital camera and generally with really bad lighting.

How come you never use your nice camera? Seems like a waste. You should use it, I bet you can get some great shots. You should try doing some self portraits with your nice camera. What kind is it?

I actually really don't know what kind it is... It's an older camera but in great condition and everything I take with it comes out looking pretty awesome. I really don't like having to take the film somewhere to get it developed, which is mostly why I don't use it. I plan to set up a darkroom, when I get the money for all that, and then I will have no excuse not to use it... well assuming that between then and now I will actually fix my flatbed scanner.

Nice its an old film camera! I was thinking it was digital. Film is sweet though! I personally like my digital though cause I don't have to worry about messing or wasting film. Thats me though. I admire film though

I love film, for some reason it seems more sincere to me than digital, and I don't have to buy prints of my own stuff to have a copy of it or mess with those stupid machines that hate me and never turn out pictures quite the way I want them to be. But I don't like other people touching my photos, partly because I'm paranoid and I watched the movie One hour Photo and partly because I have found out that people have stolen my photos that way; besides that being utterly creepy, I lost time and money in having them steal from me.

I agree with you there. I do like digital however though cause you can see your shot then and you can edit later in say photoshop etc. Yeah printing digital prints can be a pain though. I've had problems myself. In fact the last time I went they said I had something wrong. Yeah I saw "One Hour Photo" Creepy. You've actually had people steal your prints? That sucks so bad!

Yeah, someone did steal something of mine, I usually get doubles of everything, so I always have a back up along with the negative but the double of that picture was missing. I thought it was just a mistake and passed over it. Eventually it got back to me through friends that work in the store that the photo-girl was trying to pass off a picture of my cats in my living room as her own. Turns out she was doing this to a lot of people and eventually she got fired for it... but I still don't bring any art type photos to stores and whenever I do get photos developed for some reason our another I still get creeped out if any are missing.

O my goodness thats so horrible! I wonder how often that really does happen though to a lot of people.

Pretty damn bored, but I've been finding ways to amuse myself. I took your advice and got my old camera out to just fool around with... didn't really result in anything, but once I set up a darkroom I'll have a lot of pictures to develop that I don't mind making beginner's slips on!
