Are you planning anything Senran Kagura-related for cosplay? I don't own the game and right now just viewing screenshots but some of my favorite character outfits include those worn by Mirai and Yomi with their beautiful mega frills. ^^

I've actually never heard of the game, but I'll look into it : ) I have a lot of costumes coming up @_@
but I don't think any are technically gowns at the moment. The closest to a gown is Ashe's wedding dress from FFXii
But... it's not really a gown haha

Well Yumi and Mirai don't wear gowns necessarily in the game, just poofy-skirted dresses (though Mirai's is calf-length, just slightly above her feet XDD).
And Senran Kagura is only for 3DS at the moment. Also it is generally an anime girl fanservice kind of game where the girls' clothing gradually rips and comes apart, revealing bikinis, which is what turned me off at first. But I guess if you play far enough in the game you unlock a photoshooting mode where you can make the girls pose while still wearing their outfits, if you like. XDDD
