I means when you want good feedback on writing you need to be able to take criticism. Most of the feedback anyone gets is either "I loved it!" or (didn't bother to reply).
The best feedback is "I liked it, but here's what you can do better." Learn to love critical feedback. As long as it is constructive, it is your best friend.

Lol, that's a nice term. But "thick skin" is the standard term (It gets you in the mood). If you are really serious about it, check out a website called "absolute write." [link] The forum there is a very good resource for developing writing skills.
