It starts out like that but I've found if you just keep reading it, it starts making more and more sense as you go along. Though I have no qualms in saying that Act 1 is boring and a little bit of a chore to get through, but after that it starts picking up - especially around Act 5 when the trolls come in. Tis a major test of patience for a while though. x)
