I'd like to respond to your B+W group question.
I don't know how long ago you asked it though.
Anyway.
If it's the B+W group I'm thinking of, you were probably knocked back because it's run by a couple of crew that aren't very bright, are almost inconceivably pretentious wankers and who are utterly convinced that their opinion = Art.
For what it's worth I'm deeply inspired by your Gallery.
That feature in your journal is ineffable.

Thank you so much for your thoughts on this. It's nice to know I'm not crazy. And thank even more for your words on my work. "Deeply inspired" makes me feel deeply humbled and grateful.

I guess what I said about the b+w club is just opinion.
You might still be crazy
Meant what I said about your work though.
I've noticed that quite a few crew that I think are absolute genius here on dA don't worry to much about groups [link] [link]
Maybe you'll like some of there stuff to?
Take it easy anyway

I agree about the groups thing. I've noticed my favorite artists tend to ignore the group thing for the most part. It's one of the reasons I've backed off looking at groups. Yet another difference between DA and Flickr.

Hi. I'm here. I'm back. Where did I go? Good questions. I was swallowed up by the ether of everyday life. I've missed you and DA, and I'm glad to be back. It's nice to see a message from you as I re-enter the world.

tee hee. I dunno. I can see extra writing time being indicative of business not going well too. Lots of down time. But, I'm glad to hear that it's the opposite. Wish I could stop by for a cup of joe right now. I'm jonesing big time.

I'm flattered that you are excited for me to read your work. Really. I know how dearly we can hold our work to our chest and fear the critical eye... and while I recognize that you are hardy soul who can take it, it's still a risk... always a risk. I'm happy that you welcome me into that world. =0)
Jeez... I've been reading a few of your poems tonight and all of the sudden I'm channeling poetic-ese. I'm so susceptible.
Staff... man that would be nice. I could use a cook, an on call babysitter, a housekeeper, and a personal assistant. Now, how to afford them. hmmmmm.

Absolutely. Your work is amazing. I still have your gallery open in my browser because I can't bear to close it. I feel like I need an hour alone with each one of your images. It's almost overwhelming.
