Aw, that sucks. I'm the same way, though. When my online friends are sad, I always try my hardest to cheer them up, but when they try to do the same for me, I always push them away. I can't say I'm proud of it, and I try not to, but it's just a habit for me. I can't help it.
I hope your other friend feels better soon, though. I've never had a boyfriend, so I wouldn't know what it's like to get dumped, but I'm sure it feels horrible.
