I was just browsing fashion related blogs and came across your website misskika.com. I was thinking about how much I loved the art and saw your image "Lucky Bag" which I recognized from here (DA) from my favorites, seemed like a crazy awesome coincidence to me, but it probably happens all the time >.< Do you like Junko Mizuno? I can also see the influence from old the old girly cartoons you mentioned loving (likely why I love your art, I get so excited over shows like JEM, Rainbow Brite and Skydancers).

Sorry I do not use DA much anymore and just saw this 
I am fond of Junko's work now, but was not until way after I got started with working in this style (maybe 2 years or so into it!) so similarities are coincidences for the most part. My main start inspiration came from Yumiko Kagukawa back when I was a student.
I try to pull inspiration from older classic/vintage works for girls
