Okay, so there are two ways to roleplay.
Literate/literature style: asdfghjk giggled sweetly at qwerty's little joke. "oh lol i love you" asdfghjk said.
Script style: -giggles sweetly- oh lol i love you, qwerty
You can put your actions, in script style, in those star-things * , hyphens - , or slashes like K-Ann and I use / .
When you are OOC, or out of character, you need to use brackets like I am now.

You can use double brackets such as {{ , [[ , or (( and you can use single brackets such as { , [ , or ( .
And, if I were you, I would use proper grammar. Do not say "hey r u available 2 nite"
The proper way to say it would of course be "Hey, are your available tonight?"
It's just an example sentence.

I use < sup > without the spaces. That and < sub > makes your text smaller. You can use < b > to make your text bolder. < s > to strike it out. < u > to underline.
