# About me

My predominate heritage is Native American. I’m Blackfoot, Cherokee, and Apache. My talents and/or accomplishments in the arts and entertainment have consisted of being a Professional Photographer, Writer and Poet and creator/owner/editor of two published magazines, one being a photography magazine, as well as being a Songwriter, Actress, Singer, and I am also a jewelry designer and craft artist. I have been working on my talents since age four and feel parents are justified in aiding and encouraging their children at an early age. At four my mother sent one of my drawings to Romper Room. The drawing aired and was also chosen for comments. My mother continued to send in my drawings and each time a drawing of mine aired it encouraged me to think about becoming an artist. Throughout grade school I applied myself in art class and my projects such as wire or clay sculptures, paintings, stitchery, indigo ink cartoons, portrait and nature sketches, etc., were chosen to be sent off to art shows where they won awards and some went on to make it into local galleries. By high school I was designing my clothes and creating one-of-a-kind pieces of artistic jewelry. It wasn’t long before students started commissioning me to design and make exclusive jewelry for them. Throughout grade school I was also chosen for the choir each year by my school and my Church and I was chosen as lead in the class plays. When I reached high school and began to take drama classes I was deemed as a promising actress and was hired to perform on stage with a traveling summer stock troupe. Unfortunately my mother would not permit it and I had to put acting on the back burner for when I became an adult. By 16 I decided my true passion was writing. I wrote my first article and sent it to 16 Magazine and it was bought and published. I also began writing poetry and songs. I received a contract to buy the rights to a Gospel I had written and one of my poems won an award. I continued to do freelance writing and at only 17 I was voted into the IPA. Shortly after Dr. Normal Vincent Peale was moved by one of my human interest articles and got my permission to share it with his radio audience. After I left school I stuck with writing and went on to create, own, edit and publish two magazines. One was a rural magazine, and since I was beginning to develop an interest in photography, the other was a photography magazine. While growing up I had a promising future in arts and entertainment with many talents I still needed to develop and use. Unfortunately I ended up in not one, but two bad marriages. So now I am trying to get back to where I was before my life took 2 bad turns while I still have life left in me to do it. After having to be shelved for so long I am currently finishing a unique learning program for children I developed years ago titled: Life's Little Lessons...All About ME!I am also returning to writing a collection of comical anecdote stories as written by a Pa Kettle type personality for a book titled: The Recollections Of Bobby Jean.
