That's all you need man, work hard! As for the style issue, i have a similar problem in my country, but you can always get published in other countries where your style is more accepted, that's what i did. I got my first jobs in comics at digitalwebbing.com, maybe you want to check it out and try there sometime, in the meantime what we have to do is practice, practice and then practice some more.
