Well he's young and cutiemarks aren't everything, right? We're all trying to discover our true talents afterall~ It'd be super easy to edit one in later, anyhow. I love his body shape! So many of the young, male ponies look awkward like Snips and Snails. xD It's like Button Mash's but with adorable little hooves n wings~<3

Cutiemark stories are always really fun. I think it's important to put a lot of time and effort into them because it really gives you an important glimpse into the kind of character they are/will become. One of the best episodes of MLP was Cutiemark Chronicles because we got so much more depth when we learned about the past of the characters we already loved! Point is, I think you're right to want to get his back story just perfect before you slap a random stamp on his butt. xD

Yeah I mean, I worked on Snowspells backstory a lot. basically she was born in Cloudsdale, her whole family are Pegasus ponies but because of a throw back gene from previous generations she was born a unicorn pony. She always stood as different because she lived in a town populated by flying ponies. She always wished to fly, especially when her little brother was born. She used her magic to use the wind the hover him because he found learning to fly hard. She got her cutie mark when she embraced herself as different and saw it as a good thing. As her magic grew she was able to manipulate the wind and snow to hover herself and eventually use it to make herself fly ^-^
Backstories are lovely, I always like hearing them

I love back stories, too~ I really like how you really made Snowspell her own pony rather than just a pony version of Elsa. I'm not much of a writer, but I love picking apart stories and I love watching analysis videos. My poor little ponysona doesn't have much of a back story for her cutiemark now that I think about it. I guess I just kinda wrote it off as since she's me her story is still being written in the real world.. I suppose ponies are able to pick their careers earlier in life since it's such a trade-driven society. But I would like to have a more canon idea for her.. I guess she's 'me if I lived in Equestria' if that makes any sense. xwx

Like I say to everyone who says shes Elsa, her design and look is based off of Elsa and the character Perriwinkle from Tinkerbell, but shes her own character. Shes not them ponified.

I've seen a few of the Tinkerbell movies because of my niece but didn't get a chance to see Secret of the Wings. I found it pretty interesting how they rebranded an older character to make something completely new. Tinkerbell was already really popular, but she was kind of a bad role model in Peter Pan. xD They've even made a lot of her clothes less revealing.

Hmm~ I'm told I'm a very empathetic person, so I guess the story would have to involve one of my friends? I started sketching up a few OCs for buddies of mine.. I'd probably want to gear it towards my donkey friend. He doesn't have an Equestria name yet but he's based off my friend Michael. We met in elementary school and were reunited some years later. I like to think I really forced him out of his shell (in a good way!) and have influenced his depression recovery in some ways~ I guess that would be similar to my cutiemark story. He's a bit like Eeyore and that's why I made him a donkey. xD Thanks for the inspiration! ;O

That sounds awesome! I like the idea of a Donkey, don't see many of them around. I see a lot of MLP Deers. I like that as a kind of talent. Kind of like a motivational/therapy pony Finding the special thing about them and showing them how to let it out.

Aaaalrighty, I think I will. ;O I'll probably make a vector of him some day but I have a short attention span for personal projects and I have a million ideas rotting on my desktop all at once. I only work on old stuff if I'm really in the mood. I kinda feel like my ability to draw comes and goes whenever it feels like and there's nothing I can do but wait it out until it comes back. xD

Donkey-Michael has not been named.. I suck at names. I'm sooo picky about them too. Like people will so graciously try to help come up with names and I feel awful turning them down because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my adorable little ponies n friends. I was super psyched with Keepsake's name/talent but now anything I come up with for other characters feels kinda forced or lame in comparison. The whole empathy and heart of gold thing just kinda came out of nowhere and I just ran with it all in one really short sitting. Inspiration is a strange and elusive creature. >>

Did you see in the video she posted those reinstones she used for her crystal Rarity? I could stare at them for everrrrr. @.@ They must be simply amazing in person. How's she going to make the snowflakes sparkle? A shiny embroidery floss or something? Oh man, she sounds so cute already. I'm sure she is going do an amazing job like always. <3

I want to be modest but I don't come up with very good character names very often so let's just say Keepsake is the name I'm happiest with. xD To be honest, I'm not all that immersed in the fandom, in that, I don't have a lot of friends dedicated enough to make art etc. on a regular basis. It's really cool to get to talk to someone who likes ponies so much. :3
