does your digital camera have the option of always having a composition grid on the screen? because if found that it really helps when i take pictures.

alright. so i have a question. first of all is it possible, while using a film camera to focus just on something that is off center? and if so how?

yep, you turn till the focus is on the object, it doesnt matter where it is (im horrible at explaining things btw haha) but it is completely possible.. if you really dont get it, just focus on it while its in the center and then move the camera once it's focused, but dont move it closer or further away only side to side otherwise itll be out of focus

i really like your stuff i think your going in an excellent direction....except the whole camera phone thing. do me and yourself a favor my smashing it to pieces and start carrying around your digital point and shoot! your compositions in your camera phone shots are amazing, but they are wasted in the format. keep up the 35mm work!
