Oh gosh, I took a look through on the old account (with said comic pages of all of the cheeky dragons), and I am happy they made you smile, I must admit I cringed a bit. I would like to say I have improved since ye olden times. Not that deviantart has seen that or anything...
Admittedly, Tumblr took me by it's claws and wouldn't let go. I've been stuck there for the past couple of years. I haven't posted anything on it, I just liked reblogging pretty pictures and activist quotes and stuff. Though, I need to improve my art and, seeing this comment just now, looking through said old art, makes me think I can join DA again. I mean, not to put all my eggs in one basket, but if you're definitely back, being one of my idolized friends and everything, I think I can give this a shot again too.
I read your journal and I am really glad things are getting better for you and I wish you all the best as you strive for your own business. I know I would recommend it to everyone I know when everything comes together. It's awesome to hear you have picked yourself back up again. Not everyone can do that and I'm very thankful you did
I hope you continue to do amazing and I look forward to us talking a lot more often. I giveth thee all of the hugs!

Cringing is actually a good sign, it shows that deep inside you still have an interest in drawing and that you have potential to get back on track with your artistic growth. People whom are the otherwise, usually have disinterest in trying to improve. I would love to see more art from you and see what you can do! I still firmly believe that you have a lot of charm to your drawings and honestly, I miss seeing that. xD
Ahh Tumblr, I have many friends whom have been pulled into that abyss and almost never seem to make it back out. xD I've tried a number of times but for some reason I never really got into it. Weird aye?

Yeah... and after reading it too I realized that there were soooo many grammatical errors that it wasn't funny. A bit embarrassing actually! Though I was feeling exhausted, emotional and in a reflective mood at the time so punctuation didn't strike a great deal of importance then... yeah I gotta get out of that habit actually. Yep.
That also means a lot to me too, so thank you for that too, hopefully I can keep this buzz going and not fall into another one of those pit holes again; and if I do I am sure I will crawl back out again anyway.

I'm glad you get it! Sometimes people go, argh I'm cringing at my work it's bad blarg, while I cringed, right afterward I wanted to hang the art on my walls as a reference XD It's a weird spot to cringe and love the work. But at the same time, a lot of the time, the art work was being given to friends as gifts and that makes me smile the most, because I still remember everyone saying thank you
And nuuuu, your compliments will make make me blush. I can't deal with so much niceness. I will melt into goo and no one will be able to help me recover.
Tumblr's depths know no bounds. But then again, it's more fun being in wiz bang new fandoms then actually posting drawings up. It will be what it is. But I've been on it for a while so the rush is gone. Maybe I need to get myself addicted to twitter than I would do ALL of the procrastination :laugh:
Of course I idolized you. Right from the start of when we chatted on fanfiction (oh my gosh, those TMNT convos though ), you have always been kind to me, even in my most gullible and naive of states. And then you were an artist to who would spend hours I imagine on detail of your drawings while I was busying MSPainting over bases. You have always been someone to look up to, and I'm very grateful you were also easy to talk to.
All the art will reign again, bwahahaha
It's never about the gramatical errors when it's a personal piece. It's about getting the emotions out of your system and in a place you know it's safe to tell others how you are feeling. For you, that is your journal on DA, and that's perfectly valid. You took a change to make sure you get better and admitting the issues you face is often the first step. Getting everyone caught up makes it simpler when explaining where you have been and, hopefully, where you plan to go. Speaking of pit falls, if you fall again, do know that myself and your loving boyfriend would be more than happy to help you back up. I have found that knowing you have an amazing support group to help, though it doesn't make the fall easier, it does give you an extra set of hands to reach for.
All of the rping will make you great at telling stories now though. But yeah, emoticons are the most fun!
