Additionally, I had once expressed a desire to meet someone with similar interests who could put up with my insanity. The price I have to pay for this is that I now have to put up with his.

I was very concerned about that when I first got back to deviantArt recently, myself.
From what I understand, they're given as a sort of gift, and if you get enough of them (or enough points or something?), you can get them stuff, like scarves or things like that. It's all rather silly, and I tend to just kind of look at mine and go, "Oh, I have some llamas," and leave it at that.
I think...I wouldn't worry about it too much, haha.
