It's due to all the care that the providers have to put into caring for the animals that are organic so unfortunately it costs more :/ They cannot stop battery animals such as chickens although wrong because people buy the cheaper products
I don't think they intentionally want to feed us junk I think the people who are putting the work into caring for the animals just want their fair share in profit...

It's not the cost of feeding naturally and taking good care of the animal- it's all the rules/regulations you have to go through. Most farmers don't find it worth their time because it's so much of a hassle (even if it's just crops).


USDA and FDA have very strict rules for what goes into human consumption, but they have next to nothing for what goes into the animals and plants that are turned into OUR food. That's the scary part
