You're more than welcome for the compliments as you're both talented, and deserving. I'm glad I was able to give you some direction as far as how you want to play Oblivion. The game is absolutely stellar. The quests are in-depth, personal, deeply scripted and well thought out. You're very right to stay away from forums and web-sites about it because there's just too many spoilers out there. I'm pleased to meet someone else who wants to discover it for themselves!
Like Morrowind, you will indeed have a mountain of books for your reading pleasure. (Nothing as comical as 'A, B, C's for Barbarians' that I've found yet ) but very interesting. A lot of the lore focuses on the planes of Oblivion, the Ayleid civilization (the former high-elf inhabitants of Tamriel), and you may even come across a text or two about Dwemer history some very interesting artifacts. The density of dungeons, caves, and ruins has to be at least twice that of Morrowind too. You can spend a real-time week in and around one of the many cities in Tamriel. I'll shut my mouth before I say too much; don't want you mad at me! anyhow, every experience is unique. The game is so rich I've seriously considerd starting a journal from my character's perspective. Regardless, I look forward to hearing all about it when you first set foot into Tamriel!
Shadow hide you.

Oh, yeah - this sounds so cool! I'm longing for discovering secrets of the dwemer history: that was my personal goal with my second, more scientific character in Morrowind. The first was after voluntarily finishing a long career in the Morag Tong in order to become a good person accidentally corrupted by Molag Bal and didn't have too many people left to talk to for discovering dwemerish secrets *laughs* - I just loved the depth you could give your char in MW, so I think it's a great idea to start a journal out of the perspective of the character - I'd rather do it earlier than later in the game since the first impressions are always unique...
argh! *searches for forgotten money in the whole appartement* I need to have this!
Greetings! And thanks for adding me to your friends-list!
