So, I was in the plains around whiterun, and I saw 3 thalmor walking down the road. Marcurio, the mercanary from riften, was also walking down the road. All of a sudden, a whiterun guard attacks the thalmor, the thalmor AND Marcurio get mad at me. After I nearly got murdered by Marcurio, 3 imperial soldiers and a dremora that was previously fighting some vigilants of stendar attack me. I have done NOTHING to tick those soldiers. Later when I went to Solitude to do the Diplomatic Immunity quest, Delphine tried to kill me. What do you make of that?

I'm OK with the occasional bug, just not completely game-breaking bugs that cause me to lose several hours of progress.
