I'm doing okay. As I'm a food retail worker I'm still required to go into work.

I should actually be off work this week for my birthday but I've been persuaded to go back for two shifts since we have some staff who can't come in due to child care issues and another is off ill with a regular cold. I have made them promise not to get me in on my actual birthday though.

I am getting quite anxious when I'm on shift but I'm trying not to let it get to me. I keep wanting to hold my breath any time a customer comes near me.

On the plus side I did create a new model from start to finish yesterday. I'll try and get the pictures up soon.

Drop me a line when you're ready to start moving forward with the trade. I still need to decide on a pose for Bella.

Oh that sounds like hell. I hope the costumers are at least nice? Let me guess, a lot aren't... The cash desks have transparent shields here now so the poor workers dont constantly get caughed at by the costumers but im not sure how much it helps Im hoping you get at least a pay raise.

It is hell.

My Mum suffers with Multiple Sclerosis and I am terrified of bringing anything into the house which could harm her. I've just been having a discussion with both my parents as I still live at home about whether I tell work that I wont be going back until this is over and that they need to put me down as unpaid leave.

My mind is stuck between not wanting to make the situation worse for my colleagues at work but also not wanting to endager my Mum.

My Mum has to come first.

Yea your mom comes first 100%. I really get you're worrying about her.

One thing you can absolutely do is get cleaning alcohol like isopropanol and wipe down all surfaces and your hands when you get from work. Your keys, doorhandles, your phone, steering wheel if you have a car, doorbell etc so you at least enter the house clean. But i really wouldn't hold it against you to stay at home... It's very different when you're a high risk group or in close contact with someone like that and one part of being a "good civillian" is not spreading the virus and endangering more people.

Well I completed my shift today and I have told them I won't be going back until the government advises otherwise. I'm being put down as "absent" which is fine with me.
