I know this sounds strange, but it's what I've come up with. I want you to rewrite one of my poems: Urge ([link] ). I wrote this poem because I liked the concept, but since then I've rewritten the poem quite a bit trying to find the words that I want to use. I really don't like the version that I have posted, as it sounds very cheesy, and it doesn't seem to flow very well. So, out of curiosity, I want to see what you can come up with, as I like your writing style. You don't necessarily have to keep the rhyming scheme, but try to keep the syllable counts (7-3-5-7 as every stanza).
For for an example, another version I have is this:
When your most surreal lips merge
and touch mine,
a true ecstasy.
They make me forget myself.
In the air, passion itself
takes over,
your relaxed closed eyes
keep mine open to watch you.
And when I don't have a clue
without you
how to think or do
I just stop thinking for now.
Without even seeing how
we move and
you lead with your hips
We dance for the gods to see.
You make me feel truly free
and as I
get lost in your tease
I fall victim to this Urge.
