Yeah! I still stan black paladin lance, tbh. But I'd sort of settle for him getting any form of attnention at all that makes him cool- I love his recent pep talks with the team... but I'd like for him to actually get a character arc? If even for a single episode? *sigh* oh well. But wow I'm so hype that you considered me one of the artists who weighed in on black paladin lance before it all! Like, super hype about that tbh! Welcome, though I thought I left a comment as well, but no, it appears my computer deleted it. The picture is both entirely well designed and detailed for the moment and feeling you were trying to convey and that is saying a lot since there aren't a lot of sympathetic Dilandau pics ANYWHERE--mostly just him going ballistic or turning back to his original gender. Sad and desperate is a nice change (especially with those colors)!

Better late than never: thank you so much for that comment! I am not too good portraying extreme emotions, so there's that But true, Dilandau gets often the treatment you mentioned which is... well, kind of rooted in the series, really, where he is homicidal half of the time and losing his mind the rest. I like to think there is more to his personality. For example, while he is really narcissistic, I think he also shows real lack of self-confidence at times. And I wonder where that came from, or how it developed in him during his time with the army.

Geez, I love everyone from the series at this point, probably.
