yeah some episodes are just "eh", others are "YOU COULD HAVE DONE SO MUCH WITH THAT", and a select few are "lets never watch this again"
tbh i think that some episodes have wasted potential because the fans like the ones on tumblr are like "this could be SO gay it could be SO FUCKIN GAY but here we are" and the show is for kids and disney and just a few other generally taboo things
i used to care about those taboo things once upon a time but now im just like "fight me bro i dont even care anymore"
anyways i think there's just a lot of lost potential because its a plotless kids show; they could take things in a lot of directions that would probably already have happened if they had an older audience
shows for kids are plotless most of the time and dont deal with things that kids wouldnt understand and possibly question
for example, the show could tell us how BJC died, but they dont because that's the kinda thing that would most likely involve drugs/alcohol or generally mature themes that a lot of families wouldnt be comfortable with
the dude's a california pop star over 18 like there's no fuckin way there wasnt drugs involved i do NOT believe it
also, there was an episode where the main characters woke up (one of them missing his clothes) in the middle of their school gymnasium, felt like dogshit, and had no recollection of what happened the night before (i.e. a hangover) buuuuuuuut its a kids show so they couldnt actually go all "yea lol a bunch of high schoolers partied hard and got a hangover" plus theyre all underage

the other cool thing though is that there are a few things that older kids (??) can actually take enjoyment in
or not take enjoyment in??? or generally think is dorky it depends on what the viewer likes
-bjc had a thing for cougars at one point
-has canonically been to jail before (he spit on some chick)
-terms/phrases changed to be made kid-friendly but you can totally tell what was meant
-"I gotta hand it to you dude; It takes major huevos for you to even THINK about goin to school today." -billy (like come ON thats incredible there's only one show that i've seen do stuff like that and its regular show, the UK must have no censors at all)

just try to push through more than one episode so you can get a better feel for the show. they're pretty short so it shouldnt be too hard
personally, my favorite episode is the seventh one, axe maniac. if u wanna watch that one first then yea

im pretty sure the show is low-budget (or at least lower than the norm) so restricted is definitely a good word to use in one way or another

does it have any actual plot line?? like can i watch episode 7, 3, 9, and 1 in that order and it wouldn't have to make sense? i don't know if that makes sense
