The Cresteds are cool dogs alright---my hairless is like an autistic monkey/cat but my puff is a real dog---very laid-back, not at all like the hairless. I have not heard of the other breed though, but I will do some research---I don't even want to try to spell it without checking your response! Thanks for the info.

Thank you for the links to the Perro Sin Pelo Del Peru sites! Although I can't read Swedish, I could figure out much of the information--in Canada, our Cresteds should be smaller (12 inches max for f, 13 inches max for m)--mine weigh about 10 and 11 pounds, so lighter too. Very interesting to see the similarities/differences between the breeds. The Perro Sin Pelo Del Peru look to be about whippet size (I have a whippet too)--I like your male and female too.
Great designer outfits--these dogs love to wear clothes, don't they?

Sinchi hates to wear clothes and Zumo and xena loves it for the most of the time.
My girlfrend design and makes all of their clothes. So they´ve got a huge collection of different styles and designs.

I read all I could find in English on the internet about the Perro sin Pelo del Peru--they sound like a fantastic breed, and one that I might find very similar in nature to my whippet. No wonder I had never heard of the breed---it sounds like they are not recognized as a breed by the Canadian Kennel Club yet, although I may be wrong about this (I'll check). What a good fit in my dog family of a hairless Crested, a puff crested and a whippet! One day maybe I'll be able to have one myself....
