But, its a long story and a lesson learned and I was just plain stupid.

I went on it and got drunk because I was depressed and homesick.

Same place, independent study... I got four classes, one of them being the ROP class, and... No block classes! Which means I can just sit and do all my schoolwork for the first week of the month so I'll be free. ^_^
As if that'd happen, I'm so lazy and an expert procrastinator. I have to say, junior year and freshman year are the most difficult, at least by measure of workload, what others say, and my own experience. (Junior year has a lot of work! ><) But I guess it's not a lot just as long as you get it done early...

From what I've heard, you start in a classroom and learn all the basics about the job, working there, the basic science... Pretty much just a class about it. Later in the year they send you to (in this case) vet clinics/hospitals to work there and learn alongside the real employees. If they like you and need people, they hire you~
And don't be scared of junior year XD The only thing bad about it is the work, but it isn't overwhelming... Think of it as your last final push through school, and once you hit senior year, you're pretty much just cruising out.

Another great thing about ROP (they have it for practically every career path) is that they're worth 15 credits for electives, so instead of taking three different elective classes, you could just take one ROP class and not worry about it. X3
