Its basically a souped version of a GTO. More power, better handling and some visual add ons, like a spoiler.

Would you agree with this quote about the '74 Mustang:

I would agree and totally understand. The Mustang was one of the most popular cars during the late 60s and early 70s. It was well renowned for being a stylish and quick car on the road and on the track. Thanks to the rising issue of gas prices, large engines and low gas mileage the car manufacturers had no choice but to sacrifice the engine and make the car lighter. Mustang wasn't the only one, all manufacturers did. The muscle car era was dead by the mid 70s due to the gas issue. Lets put it this way, seeing the Mustang go from a stylish and powerful muscle car to a light weight box w/ a puny engine is like seeing Ferrari make a 4 cylinder 4 door sedan that only produces 230 HP.

Beautiful gallery. Worked on cars when I was younger, dad instilled in this girl a love of mechanics and car design. More specifically the classics. Nothing can beat them.. they're just pure raw beauty of line and power. Thanks for posting these!

I've been wanting to ask you something. I forgot the name of a certain car.
The car is made by Chevrolet, and in front of the car, there are the letters "SS" that appear. I saw that car in a picture of a magazine recently.
Which car was this again?

Camaro SS, or could be a Chevelle SS. Chevelle has a longer body, Camaro would be a short body. Hope that helps.
