# About me
Hi everyone, I'm Jason and I'd like to thank you for checking out my work here on Deviant Art!I'll make this short and sweet...
Growing up Halloween was a big event for me. Mom's birthday is on Halloween, so year after year we'd put on a show for the neighborhood. This caused me to start doing special effects make-up. I loved the reaction I got from people so much that I would occasionally do a quick wound on myself before school and freak out classmates and teachers during the day. Little things like golf-ball sized boils filled with mayo and fake blood or having a toothpick stuck in my arm were fairly common for me to do.
My Senior year of high school I worked on all the make-up for our drama (that's right, I said it) club haunted house and the next year I found myself working for the Haunted Hotel haunted house in downtown San Diego where I got to be a monster for two seasons, and by seasons I mean Octobers. By my third season I was in the role of make-up artist. From there my future wife, then girlfriend asked me what I wanted to do next and I replied with sculpture, more specifically making Halloween masks.\
Actually, I left out the fact that during that time I worked at a casino on graveyardshift maintanence (have you ever had to clean up a woman's hepatitis infected menstrual fluid, not only on her chair but also the slot machine she was slaving away on? I mean, how the hell does that even happen?). Sorry, now I'm just bragging. My first tax return (ever) from that very interesting year of my life went to mask-making supplies)
After 2 years experience, in October 2004 I was hired at a Halloween company here in San Diego where I worked as a mold maker. In December of 2008 I began working for their competitor, which just happened to be here in San Diego as well where I'm currently employed as a sculptor. I know I got really lucky with this. I've been fortunate enough to learn, work for, and with some truly impressive homosapiens.
I only hope to one day be as good as, blah blah blah... they know they're awesome.
Ok, I lied. It's not short nor sweet.
So yeah that's my creative story so far. I have alot of projects in the works and I can't wait to show you and the rest of the world what I have to offer.

i was wondering if you would do a pan's lab pale man as a custom costume? i'm a small female, i just would really love to have it. Β where do you live? (for a custom fitting maybe) and estimated price? entire suit, not just a mask btw.

Sent an angel to watch over you last night but it came back.
I asked "Why?"
The angel said, "angels don't watch over other angels."
Twenty angels are IN your world. Ten are sleeping, nine are playing, one is reading this message.
Send to ten friends including me, I guess if I don't get it back I guess I'm not one of them. As soon as you get five replies, someone you love will quietly surprise you.
Please read, not joking, people have seen you struggling with something. People say it's over. A blessing is coming your way.
If you believe in people send this message on. Please do not ignore it, you are being tested. People are going to fix 2 things BIG tonight in your favor. DROP Everything and pass it on .
Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Don't break this chain.

Man sorry to bother you but I have a question, how the hell do I apply for the haunted hotel here in San Diego?

I can't remember if I've responded to you, if not sorry, just go to hauntedhotel.com and you should be able to find the phone number there.
