I'm doing pretty good...staying busy, but that always happens around this time of year. How are you? How are things with the Border Patrol progressing?

I've been doing well. Busy, but well. I haven't had more than two days off from work in a row in probably over a month. I try not to complain because the paychecks are nice, but the lack of social life in return isn't so nice. Nicely though, I got Thanksgiving day off. I'm going to try to get a couple of photo shoots done during the afternoon and possibly morning. I really want to photograph the inside of that barn, and there is an old jail in Brunsville that I want to photograph as well.
All I have left for the Border Patrol is the background investigation. I hear it takes about 3 months and they've had my case in their security office for about a month now. So hopefully I'll have some concrete news sometime after the first of the year.

One of my fish died while I was in Minneapolis. I came home and it was stuck to the filter intake tube. It didn't eat much. I think that might have done him or her in.

So, WITCC dropped me from digital photography. I was hoping that they wouldn't yet. I had to wait until this Friday to pay the tuition. I signed onto mywitcc to check my email and digital photography wasn't posted. I emailed Fritz and said I wouldn't be there tonight, but I will be there next week. Would you be able to let me know what we covered tonight so I can be prepared for next week?

They should let me back in once I pay my tuition. It's happened to me before. They drop me, I pay, then I can go back. I'll have to check with the business office next week after I pay on Friday. I already have to miss class a third time in October. On the 11th I have an interview in Minneapolis at Fort Snelling for the border patrol at 8am. It's supposed to last 3-4 hours at a minimum and could last all day. I won't be able to make it back to Sioux City by 6 for class unless I'm done with the interview by 11 or noon.
I guess that I"ll find out as of Friday whether or not I can go back to class. I'm pretty sure they'll let me back in.

Anyway, for class tonight, we just took the pics we were supposed to take for tonight (the same picture multiple times on different resolution and ISO settings), made 4x6 enlargements of a small portion of each pic (the same portion of each pic, for comparison's sake), and put them in a powerpoint presentation, one pic per slide. Then we emailed the presentation to Fritz. For next class we're supposed to bring music and headphones. I assume because we're going to make slide shows with music?? I dunno
Ya know you were telling me about how you had been taking random pictures so they looked sort of romantic? It would be funny to make a slide show of them, and set it to some cheesy romantic song. Like, "Let's get it On" or something...hahahahaha.

I'm sleepy. Since I didn't make it to class I slept from about 7 to 10 before having to go to work at 11. I had the last two days off. The first two nights back on suck after having a couple of days off. I have to readjust to being awake at night instead of during the day. So yeah. I'll be looking forward to 7am so I can go home and go to bed.

yeah, I imagine that must be hard on the body, to have to readjust to sleeping. My brother works nights also, with the weekends off, and he always has trouble when Monday comes around.

I think you should go with a cheesy boy band song. Like, "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You" from Nsync. I think that would fit nicely. Or just about anything Marvin Gaye. haha.
