Hi! My name is Shannah and I'm here on Deviantart to start my journey on becoming a photographer professionally!
My favorite type of photography is landscapes such as sunsets and sunrises or cool cloud structures, but I also love wildlife, plant life, people (though I'm more critical of that), and cityscape photography. I love Cannon Cameras
and am lucky enough to own one! 
Through the course of my life I have taken no photography classes so what you see is all raw talent (I've been told it is pretty good to! ^^'). The closest I have gotten to a photography class is when I took journalism my freshman year of high school. It taught me pretty much of positions only. I learn now by looking at other people's photographs and picking up different styles I see. Though I am going into/currently am in photography class in my Senior year.
Other than Photography I also love to write, so don't be surprised if you see a random poem or story excerpt pop up now and again. My love of writing stems off of A-my love of reading.
I have been reading since before preschool, being read to since before I was officially born. And B-my love of seeing the ink flow out onto the paper. Yes, I know, I am weird like that. I just love watching as the smooth white of the paper is died to the color or the ink or lead making beautiful words that speak to people in their own ways.
Some of you reading this do not want to know how I came about loving what I do but want to know more of me, so to satisfy your cravings of random knowledge here is three random facts about me:
1-I a a 3rd Degree Black-Belt in ATA tae-kwon-do (but my instructor teaches me other styles as well)
2-I play guitar
3-I have a cat named Spirit (named after her grand-father ^^ XD)
I love to make friends but I hate to make enemies. Please refrain from being rude to me or others that are commenting on my photos. A friendly debate is O.K. but nothing more, I would love to keep this page drama free

Wow, thanks for the honest feedback dear! It's been a while since I got that from somebody on my whole art. I also agree with you on this point that being a pro needs more than some flowers and I am still in the middle of finding my own style of photography, trying out a lot of different things (However I keep most of those experiments hidden on my harddrive as they don't come close in terms of quality to my flowers pictures 
However right now I'm just a hobbyist photographer and wouldn't dare to rely on pictures as source of income
