You're welcome. Your work is most impressive, I was looking for references for an album cover I'm working on & I came across your huge collection - it's most inspirational!

Hello indeed! I need to get an avatar for this thing, this small, non-descript, possibly-smiling round face is not coming across well.

How about the head of your reliant robin dog? I'd think of you when I saw that!

Hvitiris In reply to Chammadai [2010-10-21 18:45:32 +0000 UTC]
Consider it done. It's actually meant to be a cat but so many people have thought it's a dog that I've given up pretending otherwise!

Chammadai In reply to Hvitiris [2010-10-21 19:32:52 +0000 UTC]
It's the shape of the snout, I would think. A cat's mouth is distinctly angled downwards, the black stripe on the car goes a long way back, resembling a dog's mouth.
Looks great as an avatar

Hvitiris In reply to Chammadai [2010-10-21 22:05:18 +0000 UTC]
Well 'tis understandable. It was based on my cat ( because for some reason I decided one day that his head was shaped like a reliant... ) and being an Oriental breed he has quite a lengthy snout for a cat. But yes it does look like a dog really. I've failed.
Where did yours come from by the way?

Chammadai In reply to Hvitiris [2010-10-21 23:31:08 +0000 UTC]
Failed? Nonsense. Teh faqct that you take pride in using it as indicative of your presence is a success in itself.
Mine is Sadako, the little girl in Ring (the Japanese version), the eye is on the DVD cover. I watched it one time, looked at the box afterwards & thought "co-o-o-ol...."

You're right. Or at least I take it as being a successsful failure, as in I failed at making a reliant robin-headed cat but a reliant robin-headed dog is quite cool also. Every cloud.
A former workmate of mine made an amazing Ring Halloween costume a couple of years back. He basically wore a tv all night, as well as tv stand and shelf full of VHSs, and a long wig obviously. Can't have been at all comfortable, now that's suffering for your art!

Things is great, cheers started uni 2nd year on Monday, not quite got cracking on the fine art yet cos our studio was the last one to be sorted out, and was passed over in favour of going to the pub. I don't blame them, heheh. Now I'm working on a silly illustration with a viking drinking tea.
"Long day raping & pillaging? Long night quaffing ale & mead?
TEA.
For the morning after the battle before."
Heehee.

well its been delayed for like 6 months whlie mike got his laptop fixed. Once we have the show out of the way we will be cracking on with the last instalment of aural awfullness. Our plan is to alienate the last three people who actually like our music by doing an album of Burzum covers in teh style of Limp Bizkit.

That would indeed destroy our over-sensitised brains, I look forward to it.
In fact, you should do that as a t-shirt, "I was alienated by the Axis". You could have a picture of the gurney-pushing gimp in a coo' baseball cap. Or set your ears on fire to see what it sounds like, I'm sure the Axis inclines in both directions.

Hello! I was intrigued by some of your drawings & photographs (& I thought a couple might make useful references for paintings) but mainly cos the Abbath-girl avatar was giving me the scary eyeball, heehee.
Thanks for the watch & ! & Keep up the drawing, we need to see more night terrors!

Thank you! I would be honoured if you would use some of my photos as references! Abbath girl... Hahaha. YOUR avatar is the one with the scary eyeball! I'll have you know!
You're welcome! Your gallery is amazing. I'll definately take a better look at it when I have the time (and when I'm not in shit for using the internet (we have capped ADSL here... HEY! A bracket in a bracket))
Yes we do I'm busy on a drawing of Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir at the moment.

It is pretty frustrating, but its so much fun. The instructor made it look easy, but he has been doing it for over 30 years I'm guessing.
