Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect his, I hope there can be some modus vivendi here, if there can't be than I believe both he and I will simply not speak to one another. I'm sure we're both grown up enough for that

Yup, I read The Balverine sometime in... November? Something like that. A bit dry, but the book was okay overall.

Hmm, I agree it was a good book but I felt it got dull and I felt like I was trudging through it at times

sometimes yeah but you got to admit that the Kraken Part along side with the parts with the Order were rather nice..the problem is that the book is that short..in my opinion..so he had to ruch somethigs in order for the story to advance quick enough
still i would give him the chace to write another fable book

The part with the Kraken was pretty awesome, I have to agree there, but honestly I've read better Fable fanfiction than The Balverine Order. Have you heard of the fanfictions 'Avarice' 'Modus Vivendi' and 'Bloodstone Manor Affair' I enjoyed all of them much more than The Balverine Order.

i realy dont read fan fiction much this days..i got tired that the actualy good fanfiction stoped and that some took forever per chapter
but what are those about?
personaly i liked the balverine order becuse it didnt meedle with the main story line and still is cannon (hence the statues on the library and riverΒ΄s friends at his party).
and quite frankly? im tired of reaver , speacily in fan fiction...you have no idea how i wish they gave me a chance to kill him in F3

Perhaps I shouldn't recommend that fanfiction then, since Reaver is featured heavily in all three of them. Honestly I enjoy his character, but I suppose its a love him or hate him situation.
I am currently working on a rather large fanfiction myself that takes place between Fable II and III and shows how I believe Sparrow became the ruler of Albion

Lissen i enjoy him as a chacter , but he is a villan , thru and thru and a good videogame villan , well is nice to have them around but sometimes you have to put a bullet on his head.
i dunno but i prefear villans that die in epic ways..or that are so evil that killing them would be to bad...but reaver...well he never gets any retribution for his acts, he is not a bad chacter or a villan i just think he is a bit over rated thats all
Well ill be glad to give it a read , as i know you are good writer
Well the fact he was made king might have come because he made the "good" choise?..thou i personaly dont like that theory and have several others but that would be the most logical

I considered Reaver more of a anti-hero than a real villain
Thank you, that's nice of you to say it will be called United We Stand and I'm not sure when it will be up, I want to get a good amount written before I post anything online.
I thought that Sparrow became king (Queen in my story) by winning a civil war that took place after Fable II between Bowerstone and one of the other cities in Albion (I read something like that on the Fable wiki once upon a time and it led me to start the story)

DrackeStalenTorgen In reply to ChaosMorning [2011-09-06 19:06:47 +0000 UTC]
Anti-heros usualy onece in a while save the day (even if some started as villans) : Like Seto Kaiba ,Vegeta,Deadpool , Venom (when he was with eddy brook) House , and so on...they can do it for their own motives but when the time is righ they do the right thing (even if they were once villans) , reaver didnt ever did nothing for anyone but himself and he is willing to sacrifise as many lives as nesesary..so yeah he is a villan to me
Great~ now everytime i talk to you about it aill be thinking of the yugioh card...but ok
Where did you read that?
and i know people like to think female heroes are cannon to Lionhead but sadly well they arent not so far

ChaosMorning In reply to DrackeStalenTorgen [2011-09-06 20:25:52 +0000 UTC]
Well to me anti heroes are people who may or may not help the greater good, but generally do it for selfish reasons, not because its the right thing to do. Reaver helps Sparrow save the world, reluctantly, and again helps the King/Queen raise money so Albion won't be destroyed/he can make money/whatnot.
The Fable Wiki, on The Hero of Bowerstone's page. Well, it used to say that, it doesn't any more (I took a screenshot of it when it did though, and saved it to my PC in case anyone asks... but I can't put it in this comment) it says something else now. Which is for the best, there was no proof there was a civil war so most likely it is not cannon. To me, however it was a nice source of inspiration and now the fanfiction.
And I know she isn't really cannon. It's said in all the trailers and in the book that Albion has a Old Hero King, but if you play Fable III and import a save where you played as a female, then everyone says Old Hero Queen. Which makes it alright to me, cannon or no. And it is, my friend, fan fiction and seeing how I rarely play as a male Hero, I'm writing a female one

Well no..he was forced to save the wold by shard to the face , i mean even Norman Obsborn saved the world once and that doesnt take away that he is a villan..and on fable 3 , he was just a "suit" , he tried to kill the prince and did nothing to help anyone at anymoment
Well anyone can edit fable-wiki..i added that logand ordered the making of that trol slaying hammer as the item on game said , but yeah whatever happened...it would make sence thou as lucien died there was a huge power vacum so it makes sence for people to try take advantage of it , and that aswell could have guided to a civil war
Seeing that point of veiw the only hero whos story cannon is clear on retrospective would be "Lad" (XD), the Hero of Oakvale
