I never stopped, though I have played many different games, including DnD.
Later I plan to either gamemaster Forgotten Realms, or simply write a comic about it (same style and same humor as my version of Winnie the Pooh).

we're currently playing Ptolus, written by Monte Cook. Great fun but
I think a lot of that is who you game with as well as the game itself, I've
played great games with lame players which have spoiled it. For me, its
about having a laugh with your mates!
Comic sounds great though, not played FR for ages!

Agreed - you should leave with an aching jaw from all the laughter. We start each session now with a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity, just to get into the mood.

I'm currently gaming (and game mastering) Star Wars, next session is tomorrow. ^^

Sounds grand! Cards against Humanity is excellent,
though we need to purchase the UK version - a lot of the
American cards go over our heads a bit! We got it before
there was a UK version though!

My next session is at LARP and is on Sunday - Yay!

I bought mine from amazon.co.uk so I got the UK version by default. Need to get the ten expansion packs too...

What kind of LARP is it? Fantasy I assume?

We're just playing Ptolus - which is D&D based. Dragonlance might
come later - when I get the time, I RP as Raistlin on Roleplayer.me
which is a bit of a laugh. Mosty being grumpy at people and blowing
shit up!

Sounds interesting I think it's Monte Cook that made Numenera too... I want to try that as well.

Blowing shit up is fun... reminds me of my character in Mage: the Ascension, Dante, who got kicked out from the Order of Hermes at age 15 for being batshit crazy, not to mention a world-class pyromaniac. He got bitch-slapped by reality on several occasions.

Played that too. There were already so many werewolves when I joined so I had to play kinfolk instead. Interesting what happens when kinfolk hang out with werewolves long enough... you become nearly as powerful yourself. Many fond memories

Again, we tend to stick to the one game at the moment
due to time constraints. When the nerd holiday comes
around though, that'll be different - Eight of us, in a cottage in
the middle of nowhere playing games for a week - bliss!
