What images?
.x files need bones
But if you want to make a model from a picture you would need a 3d modeling program and make it from scratch.

Yes there is.
After you open the pmd file in pmd editor you go to file and then go to the second to last option and then the first option.

If you want the pose to load you would have to edit the model in pmd editer by moving the mesh to resemble the pose.
