First of there many things made into laws that shouldn't be laws. And there haw been laws through out human history that have caused society more harm than good. For example slavery was legal in many countries until the 19th century. In US to 1865. Biologically speaking there only xx and xy sex chromosomes not genders, genders are social construct thus I reject the term gender. Then genetics error that makes xx or xy not being displayed properly, but amount of such indviduals are far fewer, than the amount of "transgenders" Out there. Then we have those intersexed conditions i.e extra sex chromosomes xxy, xxxx, xxxx yyx, xxyy etc, but those are not same as "transgenders" since those character both sexes in same indvidual. It depends on the servity of the condition. In other words these chromosomal abnormalities are similar to the downs-syndrome i.e chromosomal abnormalities. Although two are nothing comparable other wise. Downs is probably more comparable to other none-sex chromosome abnormalities.

And then there the hormonal imbalance, why because I have heard at least one "transgender" male to female complain that his testosterone level was imbalanced and too high, but testosterone is male hormone, not female hormone yet he wants to be a woman. But that doesn't mean he is woman. But are you feeling the same? i.e to high female hormones [link] So who knows maybe this whole "transgender" thing is just hormonal imbalance, bit an unfortunate that HRT and SRS are more painful progress on solving a rather simple thing, if truth. But some therapist suggest that hormones have might play bigger roles in our moods and wellbeing. So "gender ID disorder is caused by hormonal imballance and probably not unlike any other mental disorder.

But are there any that are not suffering from hormonal imbalance, I have no idea, but they might have started out as casual cross-dresser for various a reasons, fetish or none fetish. But evolved to be obsessive to the point that they start to think that they are better of as the other sex. Of course this last group is a pure mental disorder aka another form of gender ID disorder, as I mentioned earlier. Including dressers that started to dress just to take one or more particular social roles that are attributed to certain genders.

Yet I do reject the term trans-gender as gender is social term, and I reject that particular social constructed roles, are man only or female only roles. If you are girl and want play video game, fix things, play sports, be carpenter, manager etc. you can since your human, but if your boy you can child day care, nurse, sew, etc since your human. But only role you cannot take on are the biological roles of the other sex. But you can take on all social construct roles you care about, and you don't have to pass yourself of as the other sex to do so.

Basically it happens. I am the gender that I am, I am the sex that I am. It just happens to be that the two don't correlate, so I will do what I can, in order to avoid crippling depression, unhappiness and dysphoria, to match them up. I AM MALE. I HAVE A FEMALE BODY. THIS DOESN'T MAKE ME ANY LESS OF A MAN. Just because YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND doesn't mean it DOESN'T HAPPEN. There is plenty of "evidence" that homosexuality doesn't exist, bisexuality doesn't exist, that people with fetishes and kinks are either closeted rapists or suffering from trauma.

I cannot fully convey my feelings about my identity- and it has nothing to do with male gender roles. I am a submissive to my male partner, I write stories, I'm a sensitive, damaged little pretty boy. Apart from the times where I smoke cigars and wear suits and drink whisky that would make your eyes water if it was opened in the same room I am not typically masculine at all. Trans* is not who I am but what I am. And if I didn't go through my transition and stay living as how I feel, male, it would make my life a misery. I have already pretty much put the demons of my past to rest, but this is one I cannot ignore. I have thought long and hard about this and I will be living as male for over a year before I get surgery OR hormones, so I can be sure.

Not that I need to justify this to you. But I don't think you've really thought your disbelief and harmful opinions through. So before you hurt anyone else, actually think about it.
