Mmmmm yes, sometimes it's difficult to be open about certain things regarding ourselves. I was pretty nervous when I became public about my not being a Christian ... since, well, 99% of the people where I live are. However, I was lucky in that there was a local Pagan community here to support me. Support is always an important thing, whether it be in person, online, or anywhere. And haha, yeah ... Well, maybe not a beginner. I took four courses of it at uni level. No one to speak it in person with, though, kinda makes one lose touch with a language. It's easy for me to read German at an advanced level, but difficult for me to speak or write in it at all other than very basic things. Odd how that is ...

Yes well, I especially want to know more about it first. I feel like it'd be disrespectful to pagans to claim to be one when I don't know too much about it. Yeah, I guess talking with others about it would be kinda nice, heh.
It's a learning process none the less I think. I'm learning english since a while in school but I still have some troubles. Like you say, having someone to talk in that language is kinda important but almost impossible at school, tbh. I got almost all my experience from online gaming and watching stuff in english. Writing and Speaking is always the hardest I think xD

And, definitely, I agree to an extent. Religion and spirituality are two things that should always be treated with seriousness and respect (though, sadly, most do not treat them in such manner). Not treating those things with respect can lead to several negative things, first and foremost in my opinion being an unhealthy spiritual life. So it's very good you are taking the time to learn more about it before identifying as one! It's a sign of spiritual maturity, which is a valuable trait to have. c:
Ah, if only there were more things to watch and read and play here that were in German. Then maybe I'd have the luxury of learning that way. Sadly, as English is the most mainstream language ... it's not the case. :'D

Well, I try my best to be a respectful person, I guess. I think respect is an important thing and sadly seems to lack nowadays. People seem to think you have to be disrespectful to succeed, it seems. Thank you, it's really appreciated.
Well, that's bad :/ You say you can read advanced German content, so maybe a German website would be something for you? The choice isn't too big in German I guess, but if a German site is an option for you, I like the site "fanfiktion.de" it has not only fanfiction but actually original content as well. Sometimes you have to look for quality content but well, that's it with pages where everyone can write. Maybe that could help? It's really easier for English I guess.

Mmmm I agree so much. Sadly, that is the mentality of today and it is quite a disgusting one - the idea that to succeed, you have to be disrespectful, self-centered, and have to step on others to get where you want to be.
