i've only read howl's moving castle, but i've also got the sequel to it. and i'm hoping to get the castle in the sky one as well. she's got a really unique style.

I hate being busy, but it happens...
I read Castle in the Air first and loved it, then I found out the Howl's Moving Castle was the first one and read that. I was also surprised to find out that there was a third book, House of Many Ways, coming out. I bought that one, but haven't read it yet. I like her writing style very much and have read many books by her. You should check out the book Dogsbody by her. It's my favorite.

cool. I have house of many ways. You know that Miyazaki (director of Spirited Away, blah blah, my role model that i've followed since i was a really little kid) has done alot of her books into film style. just wondering. I'll look into it! sounds good. She's very unique,her books are very cool and original.

i guess, but i was expecting to be thrown into an alegbra 2 with trig class and a difficult us history, but now that i've moved, it turns out i'm ahead so i'm in a junior's science class and two freshman history courses...and a bunch of other easy stuff. i'm used to being challenged so i'm like sleeping in class now XD

No, but they have similar names.
I just started reading House Of Many Ways. And I read the front where it said the sequel to Howl's Moving Castle. I thought it was kinda weird since Castle In The Air came out in 1990 while House Of Many Ways came out in 2008. So naturally I always thought that Castle In The Air was the sequel... Oh well, C.S. Lewis also wrote his books out of order.

eh it paid off i'm getting to play first and second part after district competition. i really played well for this audition, and i'm rocking some jazz. (i'm better with blues and improv rather than concert. the more fun i'm having while i'm playing the better!) you play?

Yeah, I know that he did Howl's Moving Castle, but what other books did he do?
I love Miyazaki's films also. After a while, though, you start to see a pattern in all of Dianna Wynne Jone's books. Other books of hers that I recommend are The Chrestomanci Chronicles, The Dark Lord, Eight Days of Luke, and Homeward Bounders.
