could happen if he didnt pass it on. He simply pulled a few friends
from his buddy list and sent it along. The next day, about that same
time, he got a phone call. It said he had won the lottery!
then his dad came home and bought him a new bike! His mom bought him
Nintendo64 and play station! His grandmother sent him a new computer,
and his best friend
gave him tickets to the concert he wanted to go to, Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit!
Then he inherited a brand-new tv from his aunt! He was goin' wild! the
next day his secret crush asked him out, and they have been going out
ever since.

Honestly I think everyone is overreacting. Especially the person who uploaded those videos. Klonoa sounds a little older so now we should not buy the US release and just let the whole franchise die? To be perfectly honest, I'm growing used to the new voice awfully quickly. While no one can ever beat Kumiko Watanabe's voice of him, I can tolerate his English voice and will buy the USA version.
Then again, we've yet to hear him say any complete sentences yet. XD

It just seems like a big mistake, in my opinion; especially if you consider Klonoa's age in Door to Phantomile. He shouldn't be anywhere near puberty yet. XD
I'll probably still buy the game, but I won't be able to look at Klonoa the same way I used to. He sounds like some cheesy cartoon character now.

It's true. I wasn't very fond of the remake because Klonoa's design now(slightly taller body, smaller eyes, etc) makes him not nearly as cute and innocent looking as he did in the original, but now this voice just makes it all the worse. He's practically a stranger now(compared to the original DtP Klonoa, anyway).
When I buy the game, I'll probably put it on the Phantomilian(that's saying we still have the option) language my first time around, then I'll have it in English the second time I play it. That way I can better enjoy the game itself without being distracted by outrageous voice acting. XD

There's always a chance they'll change the voice actor. They scrapped his new design rather quickly, and Namco said it was because of the support from the fans that preferred Klonoa's classic look. I'm sure there's gonna be a flood of complaints sent to Namco, as this voice got a worse reception than the suggested new design for Klonoa awhile back. There's already a huge number of Klonoa fans saying that they won't buy the game because of this.

Namco has just confirmed that Klonoa Wii is coming to North America in Spring 2009, and will use Klonoa's traditional design as we all hoped! Spread the word!

Another thing they mentioned is that the game will simply be titled "Klonoa", opposed to "Klonoa: Door to Phantomile". Another thing the development team mentioned is that they're giving serious thought about releasing Klonoa 2 on the Wii as well, and from then, a complete sequel.
