To hide your online status, go to the "Edit Profile" page, click the tab that says "User Page Display", look around for the check-box that says "Hide my online status", and there you go!

The "words" below your comments is your comment signature. To make that, go to the "Edit Profile" page, and there is a text box there for your signature. Type whatever you want there, then click "OK".

To get an ID on your page is easy as cake. Just make a picture, then go to the submission page, type in the title for your picture and/or ID, click the category button, a menu will pop up. Then click "deviantART related", and click on the thing that says "Deviant ID". Then go to your profile page, click on the User Page display tab, click on the drop-down menu that says "Deviant ID", and select your ID there.

To get the little smileys in your comments, go by your mood thing to the right of the screen, and click on the link that says "Emotions". From there, you will be able to type in the right code for the emoticon you want.

And to add people to your friend's list, go to the top-right corner of their profile, and click the link that says "Add to friend's list".
