Oh gosh. I wish I was as good as you at the age of 11 (Tech teachers' patronising is contagious! Must stop listening to them in class!).
I couldn't even use a proper photo editing package yet when I was 11 (was still in the dark ages until the age of 12 I think...that was when I saw the light...!), unless you count Paint (uh!).

By the way, you're getting Photoshop 7.0 right? It's great! Make sure on the gradient box, you pull down that menu where it says "smooth" or something. Then press "Noise". It's wicked! Experiment with it *is addicted to Noise Gradients*.
After a few weeks (or is it just me?) you will be repeatedly going "gradient fill, gradient fill, gradient fill" randomly. It's that good...I'm gonna marry it some day...*this is the reason why she has NEVER had a b/f....oh dear...*
