And I mean HxH fandom in general, I'm afraid. ;__; It's very popular in Japan and one of the top popular stories in the Shounen Jump there, but for some reason the english fandom isn't following... There isn't even a decent information site for it!! That's why I started working on one, but since my graphic and HTML skills are near zero, it's kind of on a hold for now... o.o

The HxH manga is great, it's so addicting! I first bought the first volume of it randomly a few years ago, and ended up buying each tankouban up until the 12th which was the latest one out... Then I kinda dropped it and the series just sat on my shelf for 2 years collecting dust, until a few months ago I decided to re-read it and got hooked again! Bought the rest of the volumes that were out, and after Greed Island I was so hooked I NEEDED to watch the anime. ...which turned out to be even better than the manga, despite it being old and "it's animation reminding of Pokémon" as you put it. XD It's really amazing, they took the manga and made it even better... <3 there are some fillers but unlike Naruto fillers, you can't really tell they're fillers and they're actually important to the plot, so they were really enjoyable to watch... <3 The only thing that kinda sucks is the beginning, since it starts out so slow, I could see why some people would give up after 3 or so eps D: it's a shame.

...Ahh, I'm talking too much. XD Sorry, that's the effect this series has on me. lol

And yeah, I know that thing about Naruto, I was the one who was avoiding the fandom because of what it looked like from the outside: A crowd of 12-year old Narutards screaming "RASENGAAAN" in the nearby park. But after seeing someone's livejournal avatar of that scene of Sasuke's and Naruto's kiss, I went "Whoa, they have canon yaoi? Maybe I should give it a try"... and the rest is history. xD
