Hey I'm Chris "Donny" Donohoe, from Northampton, England. I try to get out and take some photos as often as I can. I go out walking, cycling, canoeing & driving to capture my images. I thought it's about time to share some of them.Hopefully I can show people around the world some great places around the UK.
I enjoy viewing great photography and there are some really talented photographers here. I'm hoping to hone my skills and share my progress here, so look out!

I kinda took a break from photography for most of this year. But over the last few weeks the passion for it has returned, and I bought myself a new lens! The Sigma 10-20mm f4.5.6. ...And it's a super-wide BEAUTY of a lens! Great for dramatic landscapes!
My last few images have got a bit too HDR...ish....so...from today I've banned myself from HDR, and to put more effort into getting better shots in-camera, rather than lots of post-processing... ...just a few contrast tweaks here n there is fine of course...
...so anyway...what's happened to your photography hmm??? not doing much?

It all ends up on my Facebook Chris! I find DA a little too long winded. I'm thinking of creating a flickr presence though.
I bought a 40mm 2.8 this week. Haven't had many chances to test it out but I'm hoping soon. Weather here is awful this time of year.
I took a lot of time off this year too. I started doing a lot of auto photography, mostly because I got a car and a lot of car friends.
I'm probably gonna be doing more portraits soon though. I know what you mean about overdoing the HDR though.

Still got my '550d/rebel t2i/kiss X4' camera, with 18-55 & 55-250 kit lenses, plus a new EF50mm lens, cheap but great optics. Took a break for a while, but snapping again a few weeks ago with a new interest in panoramic HDRs

Nice! Haha that's the same setup I've got almost. My T1i was stolen back in March. I shoot a 7D now. :3 But yeah, 55-250 I use the least. I'm always super wide with the 18-55, and I'm always trying to bokeh the crap out of the 50 1.8.
