Currently, I am a photography student and hope to someday travel the world and live off the images I take. My dream job would be to work for national geographic but I'd be willing to settle for any of the travel and outdoor magazines. I have never tried to convey my own message through my images. I let them speak for them selves in whatever language their viewers understand best.

It's a lot of fun. It did take me a while to get over the fact that I'm not likely to make much money at it for the first 10 or so years but if you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life... so it's worth it. If you're considering studying photography, don't hesitate, just do it. Most forms of art are beginning to drift into the background and are being buried under pop culture advertising and reality shows about intellectually challenged people with bad tans. The more people that study any form of art the better. World wide, fine art photography has begun to slip into the background and it saddens me.
