I like the immediacy of pen and paper. That's why I do all of my originals in pencil on paper before scanning them into the computer. After that, I colour using a tablet (and I operate on PhotoShop 7.0). I imagine I can draw with a tablet, but I stopped trying very early on.

I spent about 4 years in Canada's French-speaking province for university. Although the school taught in English, I did pick up a little French on the side. I am afraid that I can't say I'm any good at it, but at least I understand it. I hope this helps...?

Ah, but when it comes to artwork... even the best of us are still learning, still evolving as we go along. There's no limit to what you can achieve if you just set your eyes on it.

Ah... Don't worry about being late. We all have a "day life" that takes up most of our time. DA is only nice as a break, I guess.

Me...? Yours truly has been worried over his "day life", too. I had a job over the summer, and worked on a research project. Now that school's started, my new schedules are nothing less than a maze that needs to be navigated (no maps included, no cheese at the end, either). But... that's just life. I'm fine and I'm dealing with it day by day.

Well, In a weird way, I got sick again. Normally that doesn't happen to me. *laughs* I'm still drawing and mostly I do nothing. I want to get myself a job but here, it's not legal to have a job when underage. *sigh*

All is well though. Since I'm so bored I'm just thinking of doing my own personal projects while waiting *laughs*

My job over the summer involves doing some research in a hospital lab. It's a psychiatric hospital, so I had the chance to look into depression from a rather unique point of view. But that's over now. After school starts, I'm a full-time student.

Ah, well... depending on the type of job you are looking for, having a job is something of a responsibility and a committment. If you really want a taste of feeling responsible while still underage, there are some volunteer opportunities out there that will take helpers of all ages. It's an experience that may help you in the future, too (a job isn't all about money, after all. It's the experience and the reference letter, too).

Ah... then again, take the hance while you still can with your own projects. I have to wrestle time from school to doodle now (things were a little better in the summer when I had no "homework"), why not do what you want to do and enjoy it while waiting?

This reminds me... since you are still drawing, I should visit your gallery, shouldn't I?

So I guess work has gave you some lessons too.
Deppresion in a different point of view? How interesting.

Here, it's not so easy to get a job. Anyone under the age of 18 is not allowed to work unless the company has a child working permit. So for now, I work as a secretary at my father's scrap metal, or mining business.

I got mad again so I ripped my drawing again. I really need to control my anger. I'll be drawing again when I have time. For now, I'm getting busy with studying he he h e...
