Uploading it gives you the opportunity to resize and zoom your image to your liking.

Okay I see, I did that too at first, but then it was too small, haha. I want the full body plus my cats to show, so I think there lies the problem.. If I resize it so the whole image and not just the head fits in it is too little. I guess I just have to leave it that big because the small one is worse than the big one...and I have to keep the cats in the picture, otherwise it wouldn't really represent my personality properly Β Β Β But how did you manage to get rid of that grey shadow when you just upload a pic?

I have it zoomed out at the lowest setting so I think that's why there's no grey shadow? :') You could probably get a small fix by editing your dA image and setting the dull size view to something smaller.Β
and yes, keep the cats in. The cats are important. <3
