Also, you never gave your real name,it cuts off with ... so I'm guessing there wasn't enough room to enter it in!

PSO2 huh? I'd LOVE to play and understand all the various stuff, but I lack the ability to read Japanese.
Though I do LOVE Lisa, that wide eyed schizophrenic sniper Cassie. =^.^=

I already learnt alot of the JP slang and everything from PSU, but for someone new to everything Google Translate helps alot. Β Though it can still get annoying at times.
Lisa's craycray, I'm just waiting for the Earth arc to tie in with the original Profound Darkness arc. Though I do believe they were trying to move away from the original cast of NPCs in favour of a new cast.
Either way, the game stays current by having collaborations with new anime/games and crossover costumes, etc.

I'd LOVE to find the time to play PSO2. I was so disappointed when the decision was made to not release it here in the US.

They never said they wouldn't release it in the US, but the reality is it's ingrained in social media and current anime so it's likely they'll never bother to, because you can't recreate that overseas.

When PSO2 was mentioned for launch in the US I was quite excited. I'd hit the PSO2 US website at least every hour to see if there was any new news. First few weeks there were updates, then all went silent. All I got from SEGA was "TBA", then "Delayed" then... nothing.
After a handful of months and no updates I kind of gave up hope.

You could always play the SEA version, apparently there's a huge paywall there though
I imagine a lot of content will have to be cut as well, due to all the clothes being collaborations with anime licenses and whatnot.

The models I use for DAZ Studio which is a Poser like 3D application come from DAZ3D, I do all the pose work, some texture editing, and rendering. My gallery contains all the renders I've done that were decent enough to put up here over the years. As well as the occasional screen shot from games I play.

Whats DAZ Studio exactly? I never heard of it.

Chuusha In reply to Pie-Demoness [2010-06-16 01:34:28 +0000 UTC]
DAZ Studio is a Poser "clone" application. A bit more straightforward to use than Poser is and can do almost anything Poser can do with the exception of built in dynamic clothing and hair. All one can do with DAZ Studio is take models and pose or animate them in the scene area. Nice thing is the base 32-bit version of DAZ Studio is free with 30 days to try out the advanced features found in the professional version, and most of the base figures are free to play around with on the DAZ3D.com site.
Be warned though, once you start playing around with it you'll end up getting as much models and content for it, my runtime (models, textures, and props) directory is now around 47gb after 5 years.

Depends on what you have for a system, when I rendered that I was using a gaming rig I had built a while back. Here's what the system has for a configuration:
Processor: AMD Athlon 3000+ (2.0ghz)
RAM: 2GB
Video: nVidia GeForce 7600GS with 512mb RAM
Windows Vista Ultimate (DAZ Studio will work on Windows XP as well)
Not sure what you would need for the Apple family of computers, but as long as they meet the minimum requirements to run DAZ Stutio for the mac then you'll be fine.
As for the figures, all the props used then were freebies found around the internet, mainly on Renderosity's free stuff area ([link] ) and Poser Club ([link] ). The figures are DAZ's Belbel, Chibibel, and the associated Cat Girl packages for the figures.
