I've just been talking to two of my future flatmates for next year... two of them are photographers! What're the chances? Either way, they're both brilliant at live music so I think I ought to quit that now, heheh.

IT'S HERE.
I read the entire instruction manual while the battery charged and it absolutely gorgeous. My Sigma sounds so noisy, though; I'm tempted to go for the first USM/HSM lens I can afford just to rid myself of the buzzing!
I might do a bit more music, but these guys are seriously awesome at it. I feel a bit downtrodden just looking at their work, lol.

I got mine last night. If you head into POTN, I have my first bird related shot already up and running. I just had a look at some 100% crops with the 24-105 at the long end (which is reported as soft) and you can pick out every hair on the swan's body or even the water drops without any USM.
Its stupid at how deadly accurate it is and really makes my 400D seem like a toy.
If you are around tonight, ill show you some 100%'s.
What gear do they use? Im sure with a few primes, you will be laughing just like them.

I'll probably be about for most of the day, although I'm going to go for a walk-about after lunch; this thing is a machine (well, d'uh) with the 70-200L! Totally empathise about these making the xxxD series looks like toys.
