# About me
Hello, all! My name is Deb and, while I enjoy many mediums, I'm currently having an absolute blast working with polymer clay and designing jewelry. I live in and am constantly inspired by the desert. I have been a member of deviantART for years, but I only really started using my account a few months ago. If you're interested in purchasing any of the items you see here, or if you would like to contact me about a custom item, please feel free to contact me either here, at my Etsy page www.etsy.com/shop/ClayGauged , or on facebook www.facebook.com/ClayGauged?re⦠. Thanks for stopping by!It's not necessary to thank me for favorites, llamas, watches, etc. Just enjoying your work is thanks enough!
If you acknowledge my work, please know that each and every bit of feedback is greatly appreciated, and forgive me if I don't thank you for your response!

I can ship to France, no problem. Rates just went up, though...way up. Around $15.00 US, I think. That sucks.

Oh, really ? But I think there are customs dues for US packages who enter in France. When I would can buy what I want on the Internet and have the perfect size of plugs I'll buy you a pair

Thank you for the fav!
And actually, I wanted to ask: what method do you use for making some of your stuff so shiny? Some enamel or polish?
π: 0 β©: 1
ClayGauged In reply to oyia [2012-12-03 19:36:47 +0000 UTC]
Most of my work is sanded and buffed (and buffed, and buffed, and buffed some more). If the design warrants it, I use a glaze made especially for polymer clay - it bonds really well and comes in a variety of finishes. Glazes are tricky, if the wrong one is used, the clay will get tacky and stay that way!
