Try and go to some life drawing classes, and check out [link] and try and draw people from life all of the time. Flipping images is a great way to find some errors which don't look obvious at first, and try and take breaks at times when drawing, because when you come back, things can look a lot different. Try and get someone to concrit all of the things you want to look great, even if you don't change what happens in one picture. You can use it to apply to the next. Also, try using long strokes, even if the picture looks bad at first, it's good to get into the practice of it. Use long pencil strokes, brush strokes, whichever. hit me up on tumblr if you want, revcleo.

AHH thanks dude,I have not tried flipping my canvas until now and that sort of alerted me of things. I cant get to drawing classes before College, or hopefully ill get something to do with summer vaca. but aaah I will hit you up on tumblr for you to review my tragedies.

I'm doing okay - currently jobless, but I've only just finished my last contract, so I'm hopeful. I'm taking an OU course in programming (and other computery things) next month, and I'm going to see Judas Priest in May! How are you?

Hey weird question, but are you aware that I am xCopycat, the person you helped out back then when I was flamed for that horrible animu Scout?
Anyway, I know I must seem shit annoying for keep hailing you like a god, but you really have no idea how greatful I am for how you helped me out back then. If you hadn't put yourself in my shoes, told me you knew how I saw concrit and calmly explained to me why it was needed and afterwards continued to critisize my work I would probably still be that fagget refusing anatomy and claiming that failing was my style. My dream is to make a living of art someday so I really feel like you pulled me outta some black hole I was stuck in.
I saw the comment below and, well, please don't listen to that crap. Regardless of how you draw, you have eyes better than anyone I have talked to so far. You are FABULOUS when it comes to noticing the mistakes, and I have directed so many people towards you when they needed help. (hope that's not bugging you) - Anyway, regardless of how much you think I am overreacting this I simply have to tell you to continue, man, and thank you so very much for making me the artist I am now.

About the person below, I actually tried to write them a message but firefox kept bitching and shutting down so in the end I just wrote you a comment. It died on me right afterwards so lucky me. I'll retype them a message after this one.
I have received messages and questions about tips and whatnot often - very often as of late - and I'm always taking my time to help people out the best I can. But frankly, I am no teacher and I doubt my advice helps them much so I usually give'em a link to your profile to go with it. I am a little (or very) critic about myself and it is possible that I can't see how well I draw, but if I am really as good as some say, I sure as fuck don't wanna be one of those arrogant bitch artists thinking their fans unworthy of their time, y'kno.
But hey, maybe I should try and get some contests down. I have no money, I am a parody of a poor artist really, and I could really use a new tablet and a normally functioning pc. Thing is, neither my mum nor dad and brother have the money to afford me one for christmas, and I sure as hell can't affort one neither. Perhaps I should have people rate me and reopen commissions?
Last but not least, if you EVER need MY help you're first in line, main. Don't hesitate. For you I have as much time on my hands as you'll ever need.

And remember not to price yourself too low! One thing if you really need money and your artistic integrity bends that far, is furries tend to love commissions. Remember don't work for less than minimum wage! If it takes you two hours to draw something, then $20 for that picture is perfectly reasonable. If it takes 5 hours, then $50 and so on. Look around at other people's prices. If you want to do something cheap then you can try doing one hundred $10 sketches. People tend to like those, and they shouldn't take too long, just look at Seizure demon

Yah know, I have to agree with the person's comment below me. I freaking got on this site to watch because she is a good friend of mine, and I'm so excited that she is drawing again, and yet, you insult her work to the point where she doesn't want to draw anymore. She told me she thinks all her work is shit, and she wants to torch her entire collection. So, I come and look at your crap, thinking you are some AMAZING ARTIST who maybe, MAYBE has the right to pass judgement on others work, and yet ...
Why the hell are you insulting her work when it is better then your own?
You have no right to go around insulting other artists work when yours is just as bad or worse. Get over yourself.

Hey man, I read your comment yesterday and wanted to reply but firefox died on me three times so I've decided to do so now instead.
Okay, I know I should probably be minding my own bussiness, but I think your friend'd like to read this. First of all, I know how your friend feels. I've been there too. But I know Cleocatra and there's no way she'd insult your friend's work. She critisizes, she doesn't insult. Unfortunetly giving contrit is often looked upon as flaming, but I assure you that it is not. Concrit is given in hopes that your friend will see what she did wrong, what is messed up in her picture and thus work on that and improve. It can be hard to accept concrit because we tend to see it as a personal attack on us rather than the help it really is.
Now, about her "right" to rate your friend's work.
Do not mistake those of lower skill for being blind. Seeing something and drawing something are two very different things. I don't know if you yourself are an artist, but otherwise to your friend, haven't you ever imagined the perfect picture but when you tried to get it down on paper it came out wrong? That, and tunnelvision. When you've been working on a picture for too long you tend to oversee details that would be instantly spotted by anyone with a functioning pair of eyes - that's normal. Cleocatra is very good at spotting the details and point out things that are out of place - har artistic skill has nothing to do with that.
Cleocatra gives the best concrit in town and she knows how it is to be the one receiving it. She helped me out when I was just like your friend - vulnerable and unable to accept concrit for what it was. If your friend is willing to listen I am sure she's gonna improve like crazy and become an insanely skilled artist.
