They aren't that much alike but the coat and mane color make me think of her (since she was originally an orangey color like your pony) woodburybound.deviantart.com/f… She has glasses too (since I wear glasses) but since I never drew her with them she doesn't have them in any of the pictures xc

Aww!  She's adorable too!!  Sundew is my ponysona too, which is why Sundew wears glasses, but I think it makes him look cuter; so they stayed!

Aw, thank you! He definitely looks adorable with them. They give him a kind of intelligent or even sometimes innocent look XD I need to start drawing my sona with glasses since I want her to represent me a bit more.

Well, Sundew started out as me, but then he kinda changed.  I don't think there's anything wrong with your OC representing what you wish you were like if you really don't like glasses!  But yeah, the glasses are supposed to make him look smarter and weaker at the same time.  In real life, Iw ear glasses, but I actually have perfect vision, so I wear them just for appearance P:

Trust me, I have plenty of human characters who represent what I wish I was like, haha. They definitely accomplish just that! I wish I had perfect vision just so I could actually wear things like sunglasses or cute little glasses worn just for accessory. It'd also be nice to be able to see when I'm going swimming or anything like that XD

Well there's always surgery for that, but let me tell you.  I would never let anyone near my eyes with anything for any reasons.  Just... *shudder*

I totally want to get laser eye surgery but I'm terrified of it.. my eyes are already so sensitive I can't even put eye drops in without them going shut first.

Yeah, my eye exams take forever because I refuse to have anyone do anything to my eyes.  I'm sure laser eye surgery is pretty safe, but it's not something I'd let anyone do to me, haha.

Ugh, eyes are the one place that I'm really squeamish about when it comes to getting stuff done. I'd say at least trying to get the surgery would be worth it for me though.

I tried those, can't get myself to put them in without blinking them out right away. Plus I'm terrified of them rolling up and getting stuck under my eyelid which has happened to two of my friends before. I'm such a baby sometimes >.<

No I understand your troubles, haha.  I could never put contacts in my eyes.  I just read an article about a young woman who left her contacts in too long and she had some microorganisms growing underneath them that ate into her eyes.  Eek.

As a biologist, I have to totally urge you against color contacts unless they're are also prescription.  They just aren't healthy things. Also, you'd still be able to cry, but that's about it.

Yeah it's probably best not to get them even if I could will myself to do so. If only we could change eye color in a way as easy as hair dye or wigs can change hair color.
