Hi! I had something to say about your response to cinquain's journal entry. I am American, Texan to be exact, and I am enormously infuriated by my people's actions throughout this election. Comments such as "I hope Sarah Palin eats it" I feel are way out of line, even if he is from Finland. In my opinion, if he doesn't like her, he reserves that right. Yet, we are all brought up not to demean people..and election or not, I don't feel that its appropriate.

umm, well, she's not from finland and usually speaks up her mind in the journals. i think it's fair enough. considerately she's done quite some work to achieve such an audience as her watchers who actually likes both her work and her opinions. you can take up that issue further with her.
my personal opinion is that if you throw yourself out in public, whether artwise or through politics you actually do have to have a bit of backbone to withstand peoples opinions about who and what you are. it isn't directly like it's a personal comment, rather a comment on the political career and stance of the person in question. i also personally would prefer it if the yanks rather would not vote some republican psychopath to the chair again, but that's not for me to decide.
