I love Emil so much!! I don't understand why most don't really like him.. He needs a bigger fanbase~

Oh! The username is based off of 2 different things.. I made my DA when I was in the middle of playing Dawn of the New World.. And the ColettexLloyd fangirl in me always imagined that she had to miss him so much after the original game. The other reason is that my friends called me Colette at the time because I am a very bad klutz~

Being an Emil cosplayer I've actually met people who told me that they didn't like me because I was so much of a wimp when not in Ratatosk mode. It was kinda amusing since I agree with that point(and I just apologized to them so much whenever it happened), but I enjoy taking on his personality 'cause there's much more to him and why he's the way he is than just cowardice. Plus he and Richter could have made an awesome pair if fate didn't mess with them so much.

Hmm...I think it'd be interesting. Perhaps you might want to think of cosplaying Colette?

Really?? I actually find him incredibly amusing even when he is a wimp.. And I love Ratatosk Emil!!! I think I would freak out if I saw someone acting in character as him like that!!

I also really love Richters character.. I convinces friend of mine cosplaydas him!! He is Native American and looks so much like him that it is slightly scary.. O_O.. If the FFX group I have for Anime North fails I may possibly cosplay as Marta to match him..

I actually plan on cosplaying Colette sometime soon!! I am just having issues because I am extremely picky while making this cosplay for some reason.. If I can't get something perfect I completely freak out! It may be because I really really really want to cosplay as her! DD

I'd love to meet this friend of your's, particularly if he cosplays Richter. *chuckles* Ohh....Marta. Part of me likes the aspect of seeing someone cosplay her, but the rest of me cringes at that if I'm Emil at the time(I want to be a knight in shining armor, but on my own terms, not her's). Wait. Anime North? That's in Canada, isn't it? 0__0 wow. Although, don't Richter and Marta hate each other?

But I know what you mean. I get really picky when it comes to the cosplays I make and am pretty sure it's because of the ones I choose and how much of a fan I am of each of their personalities and characters. ^__^ I'm in the process of remaking a few things for a couple of my cosplays since the ones I have now disappoint me with how they work and look.

I have no idea if he would be able to go to Ohayo.. But I can send you a picture of him as Richter after UBcon this year!!!

Marta's is really really cute.. I still have no idea what to do with the hair though.. It seems as though it would be very hard to transport back and forth to places. X.x... If I do end up doing Marta and you do Emil.. Do you think I could get a few pictures with you next year? DD

Yeah! Anime North is in Toronto! Our town is right near the Canadian border! (We actually took a wrong turn on the way to the emergency room one time and ended up in Canada...) My first con was in Toronto so I really love Canadian cons! Especially Anime North! It is a fantastic con.. What other cons do you go to???

I think Richter and Marta do hate each other... Probably because she can see the connection between Emil and Richter.. ;D It should be fun anyways! It seems like fun to act in character as her! (Atleast for alittle while...)

I really loved the cosplay I saw you in at Ohayo!!! I actually never saw anyone cosplay him in person and it made me incredibly happy!!! O_O oohhh....really? I'd like to see that if it's at all possible.

Ah, yeah. Just thinking of the length of her ponytails compared to Emil's ahoge (which is slightly awkward whilst traveling. . . or in general, really. especially putting things over my head. I need to remember it's there so I don't mess it up and have to try and remake it)....it makes me wonder how that'd even work. I mean, does she have any sort of ties on them or anything? But oh yes. If you cosplay Marta, I assure you there shall be pictures for I shall be in Ratatosk Mode ^___^. Which makes me wonder: do you think it's possible for Ratatosk and Emil to fall for two different people despite sharing a body?

Oh my. Wait, wouldn't have you all needed to cross the border (thus needing passports) for that to happen? I usually go to Ohayocon, Colossalcon, and Youmacon. Whether or not I can get to the cheaper ones near me (Anime Punch, Shinbokucon, and Matsuricon) depend on if I go.

Heh, the connection they have. *grins* Indeed. After all, it must be pretty obvious that there's something there if Emil himself questions it's existence. . . I just called my cosplaying self slow... ^__^'

^___^ I kinda figured Jay cosplayers were pretty rare since I only found two online. . . and am proud to be one of the few. >___> "adorable"? um.....I'm sure Jay wouldn't be too happy to be called that himself and the part of me that's like him (I somehow gain at least one personality trait, well that I don't already have, from the characters I cosplay. it's kinda weird, I know).

I see cosplaying as bringing the characters to life, so I'd say that's right. I want to get them as perfect as possible as not to, for lack of a better word at the moment, dishonor the ones I cosplay.

Oh my.. That seems.. Very interesting.. I had some guy fanboy over me as Estelle at Ohayo-con.. It was awesome and somewhat concerning at the same time! Atleast it wasn't as bad as my friend who was cosplaying Rain from G Gundam. She had a guy take pictures of him bowing to her, and then ran back later to take a picture of him with his coat around her! I was completely dying on the floor next to her while it was happening! D

I really really want to go to Colossal.. But my friend who brings me to Ohayo-con usually can't bring a guest with her to Colossal I believe.. So we will see what happens!

There are no ties at all.. And it sticks out in the back and has the curving at the end.. And.. I think I may have an idea of how to do it.. Like.. Separating it and hairspraying and gluing it to death.. But if it does work out I would have no idea how to carry that to a convention without it getting hurt! The bottom of her hair reaches her knees! Usually I keep wigs on my lap to prevent them from getting damaged.. (This usually doesn't work anyways.) But really.. How does one do this.. o___o....

I actually also cosplay Zelos from Tales of Symphonia. I basically joked with my Mom a few years that I wanted to cosplay him, not being serious at all about it... And she offered to buy me the outfit because she thought he looked cool!! So I accepted ofcourse because she was willing to buy it from me, when I probably never would actually done it. I really cannot pull off guy cosplays that well at all... I really love being Zelos though, because he is so much fun to act in character as! So I have been trying my hardest to cosplay him correctly, which I am still working on.. ^_^""" I usually have a problem transporting him to conventions though, because every time I have brought him someplace his spikes completely die by the end of the car ride. x_x...

I love Ratatosk Mode Emil!!! He is fantastic!!! I would love to have pictures with you in Ratatosk mode! That would be completely amazing!!! DD I think it's possible for both of them to fall for different people! They are two different people technically! I love Emil with Richter.. But I also love Ratatosk Emil with Marta!!

Back when we had accidentally gone over the border a few years ago, if you lived in the area we were in all you needed was a drivers license, and your birth certificate if you were under 18. Lately they have gotten more strict about it, so I have an enhanced Permit and I should be getting my enhanced License sometime in the next few months! It lets you cross back and forth over the Canadian border without a passport!

I really would love to go to Youma-con!! The one who I am convincing to cosplay is Richter, is actually very rich! So we are bringing him to a few cons around the area, and hopefully NYC Comic Con to see if he likes going to them! If he does it would probably be alot easier to be able to go to cons, especially those far away. He has been driving for a few years, and he has enough money that he doesn't really care about paying for gas or the hotel room.. And usually the hotel rooms is what kills my chances of going to cons! So hopefully if he likes conventions I will force him to bring me to Youma-con!

LOL. I almost died every time there was a scene about the two of them in the game.. It is so cute how Emil thinks about him!! That is complete cannon right there!!

I have only seen one Jay cosplayer online when I stumbled upon it by chance.. It's kind of rare to see Tales of Legendia cosplays isn't it? O Because I cannot remember if I have seen any other ones in person before! He probably wouldn't be too happy to be called that.. Sorry I tend to call alot of things cute and adorable when I probably shouldn't.. I have had quite a few guys freak out at me about it! Lol! After I played Tales of Symphonia.. For about a week I talked like Colette.. So I think I can understand a bit of where you are coming from!

Yes! That is exactly right! I try to get mine as perfect as possible, but I usually fail when it comes to that.. But it is getting easier for my with sewing, so after my birthday this year I don't plan on doing many more cosplays, and just plan on fixing up some of the ones I already have to perfection! It feels almost like I am insulting the character if I cannot get something right about them!

Ah, Zelos...I know someone who actually had a girl come up to her and give her something just because she was crossplaying Zelos. I usually have to do a bit of re-styling after getting to wherever I'm staying for a convention if I plan on staying for more than one day.

Yes! Someone who agrees on these four, particularly on the pairings themselves. I actually made a friend last year after she asked my friend and I for a kind of small RichterXEmil shoot. I seem to meet lots of people through tales things....

That's the word I was looking for. I don't want to insult the characters by portraying their appearance and personality any less than they would.

Zelos literally died on the way there.. And usually we are hardly in the hotel room so it's very hard to fix it!!! During Anime North that year, we didn't get back to the hotel room until 3am most of the time, we still had to shower and everything, and we woke back up at 7am the next day.. x_X...

I love those pairings soooo much!!! D: Alot of people don't agree about that for some reason.. I think it's really obvious in the game!!!

Heh, wow. he died? Sorry, but part of me is happy to hear that since if that happens in the game that means Kratos gets to rejoin your party permanently.

I know, there's always that one part of a cosplay that's incredibly difficult to get just right and it always makes me so irritated about it until I figure out a way to get it as best as I can.

The first time I played the game I didn't know that there was a choice that he could die or not.. And I choose the one where he died.. Zelos was my favorite character at the time... I started crying hysterically and threw the remote at the tv.. LOLOL. I love Kratos too though. D: So I was very happy to see him come back! Especially since the one who introduced me to the games called himself Kratos.. He was the first one to call me Colette too!

I know what you mean!!! D: I am currently making a Miki Hoshii cosplay from iDOLM@STER. Her Ryugu Komachi outfit.. And there is a floating ring around her ankle.. I want to find a way to make it as realistic as possible.. But I am having serious issues.. X_X...

I can't remember who I chose the first time around, I've played it so many times through... However, I do remember having a sneaky suspicion about Kratos. I pointed out the similarities between his face and Lloyd's and asked him they could possibly be related to which he denied. When the time in the game came and Yuan had told Kratos to play nice or his son will get hurt I remember turning to him with a triumphant look on my face. All those plot twists and points where you think it's all over but then remember there's two discs and you're only on the first one, so it can't be over so soon.

0__0 You know someone--wait.....I'm guessing his name's not really Kratos is it...

I can't say I've ever heard of iDOLM@STER, though I may be able to give a few suggestions if you'd like to give me a link to a picture of her or something. ^__^

Tales of Symphonia had an amazing storyline... I screamed when I found out Kratos was related to him! It made me so unbelievably happy.. I don't get too into this game at all. LOL.

His name is unfortunately not Kratos. D: We all called each other different names from Tales Of.. It was... Cool at the time we did it. LOL.

iDOLM@STER doesn't really have that big of an American fanbase.. It's a game where you a producer of a group of Japanese pop artists... I was completely in love with it in middle school. Thought I was finally over my fandom from it. Then they released the second game.. LOL. I decided to not do Miki yet, and am working on a completely different cosplay from it instead..

Aw, boo...no actual Kratos? Heh, sounds like my (not-quite-officially) adopted little sister and I. If there're characters that we're even thinking of cosplaying, we wind up referring to each other by them and actually responding to it. So I personally think it's cool you guys do that too. I don't think I've ever seen your facebook at all, but I did see a video on youtube of the cosplay chess at Anime Boston. It was quite fun to see both Kratos and Alexi on opposing sides of the board (partially because I'm not certain everyone would qualify Kratos to be on the side of "good"). But I noticed Kratos had the flamberge with him during the game, so I'm guessing that's the one you mean?

And yes, it's most definitely obvious you had an energy drink before sending this. ^__^ But you don't need to apologize for it! ...I feel like Lloyd or Richter when telling people to stop apologizing so often...

I only saw the back of the Kratos when walking out of the artist alley, and I got excited so I chased him down.
